On the announcer discussion: people don't listen to announcers to hear a player's stats. The announcers are there to tell stories. Stats belong in graphics, though, and it wouldn't be too crazy to see something like wRC+ or WAR on the graphics before long. We do at least get OPS now, so there may be a slow movement in that direction.
