Ahoy there!

Hi Brad!
Brad Johnson
4:01
With most fantasy trade deadlines slipping past last week, we're getting down the the stretch run
I'd like to avoid questions about keepers today. Please solve those at a more appropriate time. Dynasty topics are fair game though, like...

How does your valuation of Conforto change after last week’s injury in a dynasty league?
Brad Johnson
4:02
The nice thing about dynasty is that a player's value isn't greatly affected by an injury unless it changes his skill level
For a pitcher, Conforto's injury would be devastating. For a hitter, probably more annoying than ruinous
4:03
If you're buying or selling Conforto, I'd be looking at around 90-95% of his pre-injury value.

First things first: is Rhys Lightning a top 10 1B in 2018? top 5?
Brad Johnson
4:03
It's really hard to crack the top 5 1B. He could finish the year with 30 HR and I'd STILL be hesitant to go that far
4:04
The issue is the small sample. How often do we see a guy dominate before struggling awhile
They usually rebound, like Alex Bregman, but the first half slump is enough to mar his value
Busted Pinata
4:05
Who are your favorite buy low hitters and pitchers in dynasty leagues this offseason?
Brad Johnson
4:06
Here's my catch all response for now - I'm not ready to answer this. I have some ideas, but I'd like to take the time to actually research
My expected valuations often do not match reality

4:06
Start Godley (LAD) and/or Fiers (TEX) tonight?
Brad Johnson
4:06
Godley's done fine against the Dodgers
Wacha Want
4:06
Next 3 starts at SF, at SD and hosting PIT. Can I be trusted to get thru 5 innings?
Brad Johnson
4:07
I think so, that's usually around when it gets hairy for Wacha
Tyler
4:07
Who is your mid-career, down season stash for dynasty leagues this offseason? Think less along the lines of Trevor Story and more like Matt Wieters and Garret Richards
Brad Johnson
4:07
Tyler Chatwood is a guy I like, but that's more of a Charlie Morton type pick
4:08
Most of the examples coming to mind are older guys like Hunter Pence. Players I think have some dead cat bounce left in the tank
Rapha
4:08
Does Jack Flaherty get a start in the bigs this season, or what?
Brad Johnson
4:08
Seems likely to me, but also not guaranteed.
Bleh
4:08
Why can't all my players play at their best and my pitchers get wins and saves and everything be great?
Brad Johnson
4:09
I know what you mean. I have a league where I'm hopelessly in fifth place.
Oh
4:09
With Cespedes out for the year, are the Mets now the best team to stream pitchers against?
Brad Johnson
4:09
Definitely one of the top teams to target
weezy
4:09
Thoughts on Conforto's keeper prospects giving his injury? Seems really serious. Worth keeping in a 12 team, keep 10 league?
Brad Johnson
4:09
That format seems too shallow to keep Conforto
Like he was already going to be fringy
Greg Bird
4:09
Am I worth keeping ROS through playoffs?
Brad Johnson
4:10
I think so, but let's see him play a week or two first
He looked great at Triple-A, just like he looked fantastic in Spring Training
troke
4:10
Who's the september call-up to grab that isn't up yet in the NL?
Brad Johnson
4:10
JP Crawford
4:11
His stock is incorrectly down because he played through injury for two months. He's healthy, mashing, and likely to play a bunch down the stretch
Oddball Herrera
4:11
12 team mixed league - has A.J. Pollock fallen to replacement level?  Seems like you might even squeeze out more from a guy like Howie Kendrick at this point.
Brad Johnson
4:11
Depending on your stolen base needs, maybe. The power is certainly disappointing
4:12
Still think he's an OF3 if you're playing a 5 OF format
