Brian, hopefully you like totally random hypothetical questions.  My sister is a Univ. of Maryland alum, and I joked with her that we should trade conferences. Do you ever wonder if Pitt had been more proactive about leaving the Big East, and if they knew what they know now, they would have pursued that? How cool would it be to have the PSU game actually mean something, and play teams you battle for recruits with?

I actually do think the Big Ten would probably be a better fit for Pitt, especially with how the football and basketball programs are trending the last few years. Having Penn State be an in-conference rival would definitely be neat, too.

Well here we go. Am I brave enough to predict another Pitt win for the second week in a row? Yes, yes I am. I'll say Pitt over Virginia, 26-20.
