Is it safe to assume ZiPS doesn't know that Henderson Alvarez's shoulder might be useless? I understand that ZiPS knows he took time off, but it doesn't know for what, right?

Alvarez knows about his shoulder, but not the specific extent. It knows SHOULDER dummy variable and 160 days (or whatever, ZiPS isn't open)

I'd say Cabrera and Walker over Flores and Murphy adds, at a maximum, three wins to last year's team. Still no power bat to replace Cespedes' other-worldly second half. I like the "depth is great" narrative but at some point having a bunch of mediocre players is not gonna cut it.

What’s the best part about working from home? No wasted hours commuting? Saving money on transportation? Avoiding inclement weather? Relative flexibility to run out and do errands in the middle of the day? Inexpensive lunch options? No need to dress up every day?

I would not do well in an office environment. I work at random times as the mood hits me. Which is super-helpful as I never have to write out a piece at a time I'm simply not interested in writing it

Given that Wilmer Flores has a better projections offensively and defensively than Asdrubal Cabrera, should he start instead of Cabrera? Did that move make the Mets better?

I think the first year at least will be fine in Washington. Baker is a shitty tactician and a worse evaluator of talent, but he's damn good at managing people and keeping teams from killing each other, which is more what the Nats need
