If you were the Red Sox, would you focus on resigning Mookie while letting Xander and JBJ leave in FA? For a long time in Boston there was a question of how they'd hold on to all three, but that answer seems pretty clear: Mookie is the only one worth building around. Disagree?

At the time of the trade, I got a 4 percentage point delta for playoff probs in Texas as a result of the Darvish trade.
Give me a real prospect or two and I'll take that over keeping a player that doesn' tmake a different 24 times out of 25 in getting to be a mediocre team that gets a coin flip playoff game.
