Look, you can make all the poor life choices you want; I have plenty of my own.  But it's NOT chili.
You don't see meat people making meat dishes and calling it by veggie names!

I would note that I have not always been a vegetarian and have had many chilis in my life. But a well-made, slowly cooked vegetarian chili, with kidney beans, red beans, mirepoix, tomatoes, hot peppers, cashews, salt, pepper, cumin, and curry (with room to get creative with vegetable additions), is better than any chili with meat that I have had at any point in my life. It's not an ethical argument, either, about the meat processing industry (though if you are going to eat meat, you should look for sustainable sources). Vegetarian chili is just better.

I want to say something reactionary and possibly illogical: Jake Lamb can't put together 2 good halves. .148 ISO since July 22nd. Is he droppable right now or do I hope for positive regression? His E. velocity is down 4 mph in this time period as well - possible unreported injury?

Beans beans the music fruit, the more you eat, the more you toot.  The more you toot, the better you feel, so eat your beans with every meal...except not with chilli.
