And baseball games, and basketball games and sometimes 2 at hockey games. It's a sport thing.

Who are our best 2 OLB's?
Ed Bouchette
2:13
The Steelers believe they are Bud Dupree and T.J. Watt, which is why they start and play more than anyone.

If Bryant gets a bunch of catches this week...should we expect Nix to request a trade after the Cincy game?
Ed Bouchette
2:14
Grimble, maybe
wires crossed

How can the Martavis story be confirmed by you when Martavis himself said he never told his agent to talk to the Steelers about leaving. New reliable sources needed? Has Journalism run amuck?
Ed Bouchette
2:15
You believe whoever you want to believe. Remember that Ben Roethlisberger said last year he was disappointed in Martavis because he lied to him. So, yeah, he's probably telling the truth now.
You may have believed Richard Nixon when he said, "I am not a crook" too.

Do you thinl we should be seeing a lot more of Harrison?  Hard  not to play him half the defensive snaps or there abouts.
Ed Bouchette
2:16
I think how they used him Sunday, 15 snaps, was perfect.

Hi Ed, is this the best DL since the "Curtain"? (Heyward, Tuitt, Hargrave, Alualu)
Ed Bouchette
2:17
Nah. I'm going with the Casey Hampton, Aaron Smith and either Kimo or Keisel line
Tux

Ed thanks, Just wandering, in your opinion what could the Steelers get for a trade of Martavis?
Ed Bouchette
2:17
Not much.

Hi Ed:  I don't have a problem with throwing on 3rd or short as much as I do throwing on 3rd and short with an empty backfield.  Predictable is the problem.  Your opinion?
Ed Bouchette
2:17
I agree. At least with a back, the defense has to guess run or pass.

Who first reported on the Bryant trade request?  Are they trying to bury it by denial or is it confirmed he really asked for a trade?
Ed Bouchette
2:18
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported it first Sunday night. I, and some others, confirmed it. However, I did not write that Martavis necessarily asked to be traded but either he or his representatives did.

Why not go for 2 after the last touchdown to put them up by 10 points?
Ed Bouchette
2:20
Because if you don't make it, you're only up by 8 and a TD and 2-point conversion by the Chiefs ties it. Up by 9, and KC needs at least a TD and a FG.
John Strange

Can the Steelers win a game when their defense gives up 20 points? I am thinking of the Patriots for example.
Ed Bouchette
2:20
Yes, I think they can, once the offense gets going.

Hi Ed, costly fumble by Eli Rogers a few weeks back, after that we haven´t seen him.  Is this going to continue?
Ed Bouchette
2:20
He finally played on Sunday but not one pass was thrown to him.
2:21
Neither he nor his representatives have asked to be traded
Ryan
2:21
Ed, what do you make of all the "Ben can't and never could read defenses" comments people make? I have a hard time believing a future HOFer never could and cant read defenses.
Ed Bouchette
2:22
I used to hear that about Kordell Stewart. I've never heard it about Ben. At least not from anyone knowledgeable about the game.

Ed, what's your opinion on BJ Finney's performance in place of Big Ragu Foster?
Ed Bouchette
2:22
He played well

2:22
How difficult is it to look at the mess of tattoos all over MB? He's clearly got some issues he's covering up with that nonsense.
Ed Bouchette
2:23
I've seen players with many tatoos who were all-pros and fine gentlemen. It should be no reflection.

2:23
How soon until Cam Sutton can come back and what are our options then?  Still a chance to completely red-shirt him this season?
Ed Bouchette
2:23
He can start practicing this week and play in 2 more weeks. I'm not sure they're going to rush him.
Donnie in Blawnox
2:24
how would you grade Bud Duprees play so far This season?
Ed Bouchette
2:24
Gerry handles the grades. I don't think he's played up to expectations yet
₩oody
2:24
has joe Haden stabilized the secondary?
Ed Bouchette
2:24
He has helped, along with the one-year experience of two other starters, Artie Burns and Sean Davis
And MIke Hilton has added to it with his play in the nickel and dime
Zach B
2:25
If Harrison is going to get more playing time shouldn't it be at the expense of Dupree instead of Watt?
Ed Bouchette
2:26
The problem with that is Harrison has played on the right side his entire career, so you probably don't want to put him on the left at this point. And you don't want a rookie having to move to the other side either.
