things to fill your eye pieces and ear holes until I am here shortly

Tyler White is hitting much better of late. Still a chance he sticks with the team all year, or is he a goner when Reed is ready?
Eno Sarris
12:02
The Gattis to catcher thing is interesting here. That means that White could move to DH if he can be better than Gattis, and yes he can be better than Gattis. I believe in White. Played against a righty, sat, played against a lefty... I think he'll push his way to playing daily. They throwing the high fastball against him and he's had to resort to his more patient ways.

It's finally Sam Dyson time!!! Do you expect him to hold down the job for the rest of the season?
Eno Sarris
12:02
Yes. Bush is there, but Dyson's sinker gives him such a high floor.
Greg

Your recent article has be scared about JD Martinez. In a keeper league where both have same value forever and power is heavily weighed, would you deal him for Gregory Polanco?
Eno Sarris
12:03
I'm not as worried, but I like that deal. I think Polanco will end the year over .280 with 18 homers and 25 stolen bases and that's awesome, dude.
Jeremy
12:03
Velazquez/Mazara for Price/Hanley? 7 team keeper, I'm in contention.
Eno Sarris
12:04
Both the guys you are dealing are good, but in a seven teamer, you have to be a super star. I'm just not sure the guys you are getting are better. I'd want a third piece, like a closer or something.
Ryan
12:04
You've been down on Kluber lately. Who are some starters you'd try to deal him for in a keeper?
Eno Sarris
12:05
Cole Hamels, Marcus Stroman, Taijuan Walker
Erik
12:05
How about that 5-man infield from the Cubs last night! Is this the future of baseball? Also, how would you score a play made by nominally the left fielder play third base? Would a 7-3 groundout count as an outfield assist? The future is weird.
Eno Sarris
12:05
Love the future, caress the future.
Astro Boy
12:05
If Colin Moran doesn't perform well now that he's been called up, does Alex Bregman get promoted in his place?
Eno Sarris
12:06
He gets time until Gattis comes up, who gets time until Reed comes up, with White sticking around and potentially parrying all thrusts.

Is my love for Joc Pederson clouding my vision of his realistic potential for this year? 25HR / 10SB / .260 BA
Eno Sarris
12:07
All but the SB look sustainable/reachable. Might not have great R/RBI if he's going to get platooned.
Snowflake
12:07
The depth chart projections have Adam Duvall hitting 23 more dingers. So he's projected for 30. Wut?? Who is this guy? Should I keep him on my 12 team mixed roster?
Eno Sarris
12:08
I picked up a few shares because projections *love* that cat. He's fairly boring, but he's in his peak and power is his game. I'll take the over on 25 for the year, so 30 is of course reachable. BA should drop a bit. Once he fended off Schebler and became a starter as a righty, we should have seen this coming.

checked the reliever leaderboards out of whimsy and whoa what the hell got into david phelps???
Eno Sarris
12:09
Was a credible starter so of course he's a good reliever. I think Ramos righted the ship though.

We are going to do a Collusion League, where everything goes next year. H2H. Nothing can go wrong...right??

In fantasy baseball, should we stop drafting for steals and just stream 100% of the time against Hank Conger? Yes or yes?
Eno Sarris
12:10
That's exhausting!
Frank
12:11
So it looks like the Astros will move Bregman to third rather than Correa, even though Correa hasn't been good defensively at short. Would Bregman be a defensive upgrade at short?
Eno Sarris
12:11
that is a bit weird but I'm unqualified to render an opinion on Bregman's D. I think Correa's is underrated. And I'd be surprised if we saw Bregman this soon.

The Statcast leaderboards at baseballsavant.mlb.com need a well-struck percentage (95+ mph at 10-30 degrees) or at least average launch angle.
Eno Sarris
12:12
Yes, angle is as important as velocity. I try to use both when I work with that data. FWIW, Lowrie thinks that 95 is too hard for a 'line drive.'
Jason from Dallas
12:12
Is Prince done?
Eno Sarris
12:12
No, most stats right there with norms, just needs to pop a few homers to help out the ISO, which takes forever to be meaningful.

your thoughts on josh hader? minor league numbers look nasty.
Eno Sarris
12:13
I don't think he's a reliever.
Mike
12:13
How concerned are you about Stroman? 12 team H2H, just bench for the next start or two, or do you think his last start was just a blip?
