I love VV. I'm still waiting for something from Zimmerman on Harvey's fastballs. Velocity loss can be worse for some than others, that much I believe.

Reading from the top, but Nats have signed a bunch of low cost international guys (Robles, Rey Lopez) and it's worked out great so far. Seems like a quantity over quality deal.

Neighborhood downtown is great. Monkey Paw. Go to little Italy for Ballast Point / Bottle Craft combo. Stone Liberty Station is nice, Pizza Port Ocean Beach. if you travel at all, make it to Societe. There's tons of breweries including AleSmith, close to them.
