I've been reading some of your stuff about the Arsenal Score stat. You've said that generally swinging strike rate correlates about twice as strongly with ERA, SIERA, xFIP as does groundball rate, but that it varies some according to pitch. Have you published the pitch-specific correlations, anywhere? Thanks.

Has anyone ever written an article about the effects of Lasik on hitters? Ramos isn't the first to have a season like this. Carlos Delgado's OPS+ improved 22 points in 2008 after having Lasik in the offseason.
