I believe in him too. He's made some adjustments to his swing rates, and if he can get a little loft -- not crazy since he's been hurt this year and will have the offseason to heal -- he could regain that power stroke with some SBs. Lovely bench play / deep dynasty acquisition right now.

Is there a quantifiable value for how many pitches a player sees per at bat? Seeing a lot of pitches definitely affects the game in a big way because it can cause more bullpen use. Is it calculated into any more comprehensive stats like WAR?

It helps you BB more, and is related to power, but you also K more. Not directly measured and included in anything, but has implications everywhere.

We did an interview about this and the research was surprisingly vague. I think his walk rate will give him value even as things fall apart, but tools also help you age well.
