minor quibble with the e. coast player, beer, sandwich. Nola, Tired Hands both great but instead of cheesesteak you have to go for the Roast Pork instead. Bunch of great spots but John's Roast Pork is the best

It's easy to criticize KC for being delusional about their playoff hopes, but the trade for JD Martinez seems to indicate they wouldn't get much in return for, e.g., Hosmer.  So, might as well stick in there for one more shot at the post-season, then blow things up, right?

Does anyone realize that Bryan Shaw is actually a bad reliever? Dude has gotten incredibly lucky at points, and his ERA does not reflect the true pitcher he is.

400+ innings from a reliever is a pretty good sample, and I'm guessing it has to do with sawed-off bad contact on that fire 95 mph cutter that looks like a slider.

Think Xander will ever hit for power consistently? He's got the tools to do it (I think), but his approach is geared towards slapping the ball and hitting for average. Not partaking in the launch angle revolution.

In the offseason I get much closer to like 80%. But yeah, around the trade deadline, I'd have to practically do a full day. Which... no I couldn't. I'd have to poop at least once.
