Ranch is an abomination. To make it spicy is just to acknowledge that its only flavor is a vague and unappetizing sourness.

Is there a veggie or condiment that you would absolutely not put on a sandwich?
Eno Sarris
12:42
I'm not actually a big fan of ranch haha.

What SP either through trade/FA should the A's acquire in the offseason? Other than hometown man CC Sabathia at 2/20 :)
Eno Sarris
12:43
There are a ton of 4/5 types that will be available, and the A's will pick off the cheapest:
12:45
Brett Anderson
Trevor Cahill
Tyler Chatwood
Jesse Chavez
Bartolo Colon
R.A. Dickey
Jaime Garcia
Miguel Gonzalez
Jeremy Hellickson
John Lackey
Francisco Liriano
Mike Minor
Tyson Ross
CC Sabathia
Funny how many ex-As are on the list.

if you want to see an extremely clear org philosophy, check out Jose Quintana's four seam and sinker usage before and after the trade to the Cubs.
Eno Sarris
12:47
Interesting. http://www.brooksbaseball.net/outcome.php?player=500779&b_hand=-1&time... Count the Cubs as another org that's not all in on the 4s. Astros, too.

Curious as to how fast a prospect falls out of favor.  Would KC ss Mondesi, who is hitting well at AAA still be a top 50 or even top 100 prospect after a not so great ML 200 at bats?
Eno Sarris
12:47
I bet not top 100. Happens fast. Maybe faster than it should.
Chris
12:48
What are your thoughts on Dinelson Lamet? Still walks a bit too many guys but has really curtailed the HR rate since July and that K rate is enticing.
Eno Sarris
12:48
yeah my only problem with him is the lack of changeups. I like the movement on it and want him to trust it like a hard change.
Archie Graham
12:49
In a 16-team keep forever league (keep 5), who would be your odd man out: Turner, Marte, Lamb, Archer, Moncada, Devers?
Eno Sarris
12:49
The pitcher.
Travis
12:50
The results weren't pretty, but I really liked what I saw from Luiz Gohara yesterday. Easy LH gas (97-98) with a filthy slider. The change is a work in progress, but if he can get that up to even average, the Braves might have the stud pitcher they've been looking for.
Eno Sarris
12:50
He really doesn't trust that change yet, but yeah the gas and slider combo gives him a wicked high floor.

Astros>Indians?  The NL seems harder to figure.  The Nats and Dodgers seem beat up and frail right now.
Eno Sarris
12:51
I think overall the Astros are maybe a tick better, but shorten the series and then I take the Indians. Top two starters, take Indians. Top x relievers, take Indians. Hitters go Astros, but I still take Indians in a series.

Any thoughts on Kyle Gibson?  Supposedly made some mechanical changes and has been very good his last few times out.
Eno Sarris
12:52
Release point and velo up. I've always been a little interested in him. But only deep league.

Need to replace Hamilton, OBP XBH R and NSB league... Rosario or DeShields?
Eno Sarris
12:53
DeShields. Healthy, decent OBP.
Chin Music
12:54
Need to drop one of B Parker or S Greene. Who do I choose?
Eno Sarris
12:54
Parker's team is better, which usually leads to more save chances.

Stone and Lagunitas are also a bit antiquated.  Bell's has stayed relevant with their great seasonal IPAS, stouts and experimental stuff while the other nationals have stayed dormant.
Eno Sarris
12:55
It feels that way but then you look at some of the overlooked beers from both, like Aunt Sally from Lag (easy drinking hoppy sour on pop market) and the Stachostic project (sp?) stuff from Stone, where they try to push the envelope... They're trying at least.

Did you know certain hops are trademarked? Local brewer (BG BeerWorks) told me last night that he can't grow Citra or Mosaic because they're trademarked and I thought that was crazy. For some reason I fear this could be really bad for the industry in the future.
Eno Sarris
12:57
Yeah I knew that but I'm not sure its bad, or worse than the farming industry's problems in general. I guess yeah farms have been trending towards Big Agra so a big hop farm cornering market on a hop brand is not great. But it's also been going on in farming forever.

Eno, with all the DL trips this season it's strange to see what's been happening in September. Why haven't the Tigers placed Fulmer on the DL yet when it appears his season is done?
Eno Sarris
12:57
Easiest answer is that the team doesn't need his roster spot with rosters expanded.

I feel like I can’t keep up with the national craft brands anymore, and I also can’t decide if that’s a problem or not. Every time I go to a bottle shop I feel like there is something new from each of them, whether a new style or just a 3rd type within a style. It’s great to have options but its somehow overwhelming?
Eno Sarris
12:58
See? They're trying, but there's a general problem where there's just always something new from someone out there to try.

What is Rafael Montero?
Eno Sarris
12:58
a major league right-handed starting pitcher?
1:00
Less facetiously, he's fiddling with his fastball, looks like he's throwing more of a sinker instead of that straight fourS. Could be the sinker makes everything work. Change is meh but slider is p good.

When is the last time you had a dream where all of your teeth shattered and fell out and if it wasn't recently (or ever) then I am sorry for putting this idea in your head.
