I think it's funny that if you were going to cheat you'd sit in the dugout with your cheating device.  Wouldn't you sit in the tunnel and just send the bat boy to tell a coach how to cheat, or just kind of shout-whisper "It's a fastball, Rizzo.  Fastball coming big guy!"

There seem to be a number of attempts to "gotcha" FG authors in chat every week by pointing out another author's view (like that question about Rosario and Arcia) to create disagreement. Isn't a non-monolithic FG a good thing?

Eno, please tell me why this equation is messed up...I ran it for 2015-2016 and 2016-2017, and it seems to predict ERA just as good - if not better than - FIP...(((xwOBA*1.33*(TBF))+(3*BB)+(3*HBP))-(2*K)/IP+FIP constant...it obviously is FIP with a factor for xwOBA instead of HR..but I mean it's dumb right?
