I don't think so, Eugenio Suarez has a pretty tight grip on that gig.

So, Nolan Jones is a pretty good prospect, right? Why do you have Benson ahead of him?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:20
Benson's upside is enormous if he ever starts hitting.
Carl

Is Corbin Burnes still to be viewed as a 40FV prospect? Has his performance this season changed yours and others views of him, or is he expected to fall off as he moves up?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:21
He's moved up for me.

you say Heredia was "too physical".  what do you mean by that?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:22
Much bigger, stronger and more physically mature than most of the other players in the league.
George

How do you filter out the noise created by the environment of the PCL when evaluating players?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:23
With one's eyes
Rangers Suck and are Good

Is Hans Crouse just succeeding on the back of his velocity? I'm far too excited about his 22Ks in 17 innings.
Eric A Longenhagen
2:23
Scouts here love the breaking ball, too.

What's the percentage of guys in a top 100 list at any time that will never see the majors or have no mlb impact? 50%? 75%?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:24
Probably 30%.

What' your hot take on Aramis Garcia?  Looks like enough stick there to make it as a ML catcher, no?  Trade candidate then..?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:26
24 year old in Cal League, I'm not there yet
Derek in Little Rock

Thoughts on Yunior Severino?  He's young for the level and seemingly holding his own, though the strikeouts are a concern.  Is there an understood benefit of the doubt for a switch hitter attempting to develop two swings?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:27
He takes big, out of control swings so that might be a career-long issues. Probably 2B. Does have power.

What are your thoughts on prospects?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:28
They might be good let me see them.

Do we need to adjust have we view power grades due to the HR spike? We're living in a world where Scooter can hit 20....
Eric A Longenhagen
2:31
I get anxious about a lot of the tool grade equivalents because so much of the game is evolving so quickly right now. Maybe when the dust settles and we see a more stable statistical environment we can discuss but for now I think there's more value in the scale's ability to quickly communicate evaluation than is detracted from it because it isn't exact flush to actual distribution.

Are there any prospects that you are sick of getting questions about?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:32
Yes, but I love Chat's enthusiasm and it doesn't take much effort to sift through redundant questions.

Who is the most overrated/overhyped prospect out there right now?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:33
Conor McGregor
Jose
2:34
Michael Chavis didn't make your summer top 100. Does he have a chance to make it over the winter? What're you hearing from scouts?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:35
He does. Hearing the uptick in power is real but there are concerns about the approach. Same as Austin Hays.

2:36
Do you think Brendan McKay got overrated because of the whole "two-way player" thing? He profiles either as a 20 HR 1B or a #3-4.
Eric A Longenhagen
2:36
He's properly rated within the industry but gets hyped publicly because the two-way thing is a lot of fun.
2:38
Okay, there are still 500 of you here and I've maybe gotten to a third of your questions but after two hours, I am spent. Thank you so much for coming, please come back next week. Until then, be well y disfruta beisbol.
