I've never actually bothered to go to the Rose Festival because I try to get out of cities but it's always a big huge deal. The weather might be a slight deterrent but it isn't supposed to be miserable. Expect crowds! Try to walk, bike, or take public transit

Maybe there is something I'm missing, but Stanton generates most of his offense through a small amount of swings. So there's variability in there when he connects or mis-hits

Thoughts on the Reds? As a Reds fan I'm very conflicted. Obviously being bad makes for a boring season, but being historically bad is oddly entertaining.

I'm not real concerned long-term -- few people have hitting figured out quite like Joey Votto -- but I think he is messing around with his approach and right now it's not working for him
