They could definitely make a deal to lose Garrison. That's also what moving Drouin does. Not just that it gives you another spot to protect a forward, but that your leverage with Vegas goes up because there is less talent to pick from.

Is another year of Neal worth the asset though?
They won't be able to afford him in free agency a year from now, so it depends on the ask.
