How will Ken Holland handle the cap situation if everyone is healthy (1.2M over assuming cafriendly roster - Rasmussen + Frk and 1.5 for Athanasiou)

They have Franzen's LTIR to use which gets them close, but like Holland said a few days ago they'll have to make a move to clear space if everyone is healthy at the end of camp.
I still have my doubts they go into the year with nine defenseman including Witkowski

They're still right at the cap, but they won't have to make a big move to get under.

For a team that is both not ready to compete and at the high end of the cap, signing a 33 year old for three years..
