But I still think it's more likely he re-signs.
Boy would he be a market-changer if he did get put on the block though.

Always depends what pick/prospect is offered. Vegas clearly covets draft picks, and needs some more for this year.

People keep pondering about the Oilers struggles but seem to be ignoring the obvious(at least in my eyes), they are a fairly slow team outside of McDavid and that’s clear to me when I watch them, to steal a reference from baseball, they play station to station when going from the D-zone to the O-zone.

Is the change from Eberle to Strome really enough to slow the whole system down? Because they were generally the same team last year.
I see it too, they aren't skating enough. But I'm not sure how to solve that.

Could a dynamic skater like Nate Schmidt help them turn it up? Or do they need someone like Gus Nyquist who can keep up with McDavid up front?

I like Jake Allen a lot. I'm just not sure he's cracked the top 3 for me yet.
I don't even really dislike Quick, I just also don't think he's a top 3 goalie.
But it's so subjective to what you believe being a "top" goalie is.

I don't think so. It's a young team that they're trying to nurture. I don't think anyone expected a Cup run this year, and it's not even a quarter of the way in yet.
If they're in the bottom-5 at the end of the year, ask again.

That debacle last night in San Jose makes me lean towards DeBoer, but honestly it might be Boudreau or Trotz if they can't get things turned around.
Those teams aren't supposed to be bubble teams, let alone sinking to the bottom of the standings.
