Yes, they like him. If he doesn't commit penalties and drop passes he'll see even more playing time.

What was the issue with leg cramps yesterday before the game started?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:50
It was hot. And Al was sick.

If you had to choose between Baltimore and Pittsburgh to win Division based on 1st two games..who do you go with?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:51
Steelers because of the Ravens injuries.

Antonio brown is the goat receiver right?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:51
Jerry Rice.

Isnt it time for Big Ben to start acting like a top qb? The guy has the best skill players in league ,one of the best lines and he cant convert on third down and scores only 40 points against two non playoff teams with two of the worsf qbs in league who couldnt keep defense off field. Dont forget Big ben piloted the superbowl championships; he never was the plane or engine. Our defense won those.

He'll get better. Bryant missed a year and Bell missed all of spring and training camp.

Ray, after watching the offense take steps into the right direction this past Sunday, is it only a matter of time when the Offense comes together to be "ELITE" again? And the defense is looking great again, thoughts?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:53
Defense very good through two games. And yes, I think the offense will come around. It's only a matter of time with the skill players they have.

As always, the Ravens game will be a struggle.  But, there's now a realistic chance for the Steelers to open up 5-0,  Agree?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:54
For sure. I know they struggle in Baltimore, but they can win down there this year. All those injuries have to catch up to the Ravens sooner or later.
Jim
12:54
Barring any major injuries is it unrealistic to view the Steelers as a top 5 defense this year?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:54
Let's talk after the Lions, Packers and Patriots games.

Will Vance McDonald be ready to go against Chicago?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:55
He injured his back Wednesday. Did not practice Thursday or Friday and was inactive Sunday.

it looked like JuJu got more snaps than Eli, has he taken over as the #3 WR?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:56
Rogers has played 64 percent of the snaps and JuJu 47 through two games. But yes, he played one more snap than Eli yesterday. Too early to tell, but they do like JuJu.

Ray, thanks for the great chats. Do the Steelers loose the year Bryant was suspended from his rookie 4 year contract or does that year not count against it?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:56
Does not count. His contract expires after the 2018 season.

Do you think James Conner will see more than one or two carries per game?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:57
Maybe 3-4 but Bell will be the bell cow when healthy.

Time for regime change in Cincinnati? They look terrible.
Ray Fittipaldo
12:58
If you couldn't see this coming you don't know football. They let their two best offensive linemen walk in free agency and their skill players after AJ Green are average at best.

Tell the Steelers I will rush for $5000 a yard!

Hi Ray, Eli Rogers seemed content just to call for a fair catch with each of his punt returns. There were a few that at least seemed returnable. I know it is nice not to have to risk Brown to injury, but wouldn't it be nice to at least have some spark in the return game?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:59
Haven't been impressed with Eli as a punt returner.

My neighbor suggests the Steelers trade Bell for A. Peterson. I told him he was CRAZY!!! What say you?
Ray Fittipaldo
12:59
He's crazy.

Folks, the Minny defense is REALLY good.
Ray Fittipaldo

I second that.

Heard a good number of the sports "know it alls" saying that Julius Jones is the best receiver in FB, with no mention of AB. Who would you rate # 1?
Ray Fittipaldo

Antonio Brown. I think he's the best WR, not hands down, but I don't think Jones is as versatile.
That's it for this week. I have to get to the locker room. We'll see you again next week at the same time.
