Not if the Steelers play up to their potential.
Steve

Good afternoon Ed. Who is the hardest working Steeler you ever covered as a reporter?
Ed Bouchette
2:33
Mike Webster, James Harrison, Antonio Brown all come to mind.

Hi Ed, which Back up ILB do you see having a great year?
Ed Bouchette
2:34
None. If they are backups, why would anyone think they might have a "great" year?
Bryon
2:34
Is Landry our future
Ed Bouchette
2:34
Yes, as the No. 2 quarterback.
Jud
2:34
Should Dobbs find himself in the same position Ben did as a rookie, do you think he would have the same success?
Ed Bouchette
2:35
No one is ever going to go 13-0 as a rookie quarterback again.

I love the black and yellow shamrock with Mr. Dan Rooney's initials the Steelers will wear this year as a tribute to his great legacy. I think it is beautiful and he will helping from Heaven. Do you believe in the luck of the Irish?
Ed Bouchette
2:35
I believe it is black and gold, not yellow.
Jud
2:35
You gonna see Peter King when he's in town?
Ed Bouchette
2:36
If it is not my day off. Peter and I got together when he came to Pittsburgh in June.
And, in fact, I was on his Podcast for MMQB
Tom K

Where is the best food in Bethany beach?
Ed Bouchette
2:36
You have to drive to Rehoboth.
Jud
2:36
Are there strict contact rules regarding interviews of the players during camp?  Seems like a perfect time to grab a beer with the players.  I assume the olden days were better
Ed Bouchette
2:37
Much better in that regard. Neil O'Donnell actually bought me a beer a few times, but it was never a case where we hung out with players. Assistant coaches, yes.
Jud
2:37
We have no trade bait at WR do we?  6th or 7th rounder at best and generally right before the cut deadline?
Ed Bouchette
2:38
Yeah, I wouldn't count on any trades one way or the other.

Do you think L.  Bell will be with the team in 2019?  I could see him playing on franchise tag this year and next.  but I have serious doubts beyond that
Ed Bouchette
2:38
Yikes, I'm trying to concentrate on 2017 and you want me to look two years ahead to that? Let's see how this year unfolds first.

Which player in Steelers history had/has the funniest quotes?
Ed Bouchette
2:39
Bubby Brister was my favorite in that regard. -

Ed, if this seasons defense doesn't improve / make progress in the defensive rankings, or the secondary's new man coverage fails, do you feel Butlers job would be in jeopardy?
Ed Bouchette
2:40
I believe Keith Butler is a good defensive coordinator and I believe Mike Tomlin feels that way too.
So, no.
Justin
2:40
Do you like the Steelers still going away to camp?  Seems like most teams stay home anymore.
Ed Bouchette
2:41
Yes, I love it and hate the trend to practice at home. I think coaches are more control freaks now and don't want open practices, which is what you have when you go to camp before the fans, who cannot watch at team facilities.
Paranoia reigns in the NFL

Burns won't be a distraction correct?  Seems like a minor infraction compared to Elliot's troubles.
Ed Bouchette
2:42
We talkin' parking tickets? Speeding tickets? Unpaid traffic citations?
No problem.

Welcome back Ed. Is it full pads Friday after the Thursday run test or do they wait until Saturday to start poppin pads? Thanks.
Ed Bouchette
2:42

Thanks for another great chat. If you get a chance, Bill Hillgrove charity event to help make needy kids' Christmases will take place this evening, starting at 4, at Golden Goblet in Monroeville on Rte 286. I'll be there. Bring an unwrapped toy.
