Dedicated to Yu? No, dedicated to Rob Manfred and his juiced balls? Wait. You dedicate this.

I'm here I'm here I'm here

I got 4 hit (batsmen) and a RBI.  Which is more surprising?
Eno Sarris
12:04
The RBI. AL pitcher!

12:04
Should bellinger get blames just as much for the dodger losing last night as yu darvish?
Eno Sarris
12:05
It wasn't a good postseason for Bellinger, and he had some flaws exposed. I saw some say he'll fall off quickly and isn't that good. I believe he has some contact improvement in him and this was part of that first rookie adjustment myself.

12:05
Which pitchers do they dodgers go after for next year?
Eno Sarris
12:07
Yu said he wanted to come back! They seem set up to sign a pitcher! ... it doesn't seem likely that it'll be yu, though, does it. Maybe they like Arrieta? Everyone has them as a likely Otani spot too.

I for one was glad to see a low scoring game. I'd really gotten tired of the balls narrative. The Morton narrative is much more fun.
Eno Sarris
12:07
That Game Five was a source of much conversation at the bar last night. Was it great? Or just full of (the) runs?

Need pitching in a keep forever dynasty. Is posey for berrios and faria too much to give up?
Eno Sarris
12:08
This is the time to sell a catcher with a lot of miles, IMO. I like those pitchers, except Faria's velo was weird. Is there a slightly more established second piece you could add to Berrios' upside?

12:09
What happens to Adrian Gonzalez and his 23m contract?
Eno Sarris
12:09
I'm thinking something medical. His back was all messed up.

Eno! You're alive!
Eno Sarris

barely!

12:09
where do you see Addsion Reed landing?  Cubs 8th inning role a possibility?
Eno Sarris
12:10
It's possible the Cubs acquire some back end pitching -- which is actually sort of plentiful -- and spend more of their resources on the pen instead of being in on Jake, Cobb, Yu.

12:10
Mets opened betting in 8th for 2018 world series odds at 20/1, equal to AZ and ahead of interesting teams like TB, Mil, Col... this feels tantamount to setting a pile of money on fire, am I missing something?
Eno Sarris
12:12
there's a lot of offseason left, but the Mets feel like the Angels. Say the Angels get Yu. A healthy season from Yu, Richards, Heaney, Skaggs... maybe they get a second baseman (kipnis?) or a third baseman... Mets could make some moves, similarly, (CF?) and get a miracle last healthy season from Wright, and somehow their other pitchers get back on the horse and are healthy again... You're right that Milwaukee and Tampa are probably better teams in most simulations of next season, but health is the big question mark for everyone.
Moltar
12:12
So is Morton the dude most likely to see his fantasy value inflated by the postseason?
Eno Sarris
12:14
The NCAA tournament mistake! I mean... I love the dude. He was nearly crying in the locker room. Everyone else is screaming, and he's crying. He's a good middle of the rotation pitcher in fantasy and real life, but his problems against lefties never really went away, and health hasn't always been on his side.

12:14
hey Eno what do you think of this Darvish pitch tipping thing? I cant decide if I’m team ‘he can’t throw his off speed stuff cuz the damn slippery balls’ or ‘they knew what was coming’. Either way do you think this ruins his shot at staying in LA?
Eno Sarris
12:15
Hell of a time to tip. With Verlander's weird slider situation, and the fact that the pitchers that did best in the series didn't feature sliders... I don't know. I don't usually like conspiracy theories, but once you open the door with the regular season ball, bets are off, and it's fair for us to question the WS ball.

What's the big takeaway from this year's World Series?
Eno Sarris
12:15
An executive told me recently... "Baseball is not that hard to figure out. You build a core, and when it's ready, you add some veterans."
AD
12:16
I saw that there is a hold-up in negotiations between MLB and the Japanese league on how to handle posting fees and such. Do you think this significantly delays Otani's signing?
Eno Sarris
12:17
Hopefully it's what paves the way for Otani, not the other way around. Those rules suck for everyone. Everyone! Yes, they suppress costs for MLB, but by doing so, they make it less likely that Otani (and Takahiro Norimoto, who is pretty good too) come over.

12:17
Not to burst your bubble, but today's date is 11/2/2017. Unless we're chatting with future Eno...
Eno Sarris
12:17
Oh poop. I guess I don't usually set up the chat after midnight my time and I added that day erroneously
get puiggy with it
12:17
give me some words of hope for my dodgers next year
Eno Sarris
12:19
Who they losing? Yu and Utley? They can get past that. I bet they trade Grandal for something. His game calling is atrocious but someone wants his framing and bat.

Are you a fan of black IPAs? any favorites?
Eno Sarris
12:20
Always loved Wookie Jack from FW but they retired it. Haven't had a great one in a while.

Come on Bellinger is a rookie.
Eno Sarris
12:20
That's what I'm saying.

cant decide if I’m happier that Beltran, McCann and Gattis finally got rings or that Utley didn’t
Eno Sarris
12:20
I had to write an ode to the veterans just so I could give Beltran some dap.

Are we doing mostly post-WS q's today, or offseason q's as well?
Eno Sarris
12:21
Bring it all. I'm going to the AFL to see prospects today. Calendar has turned.
