No team is going to look at him and say "there's our guy!" But if the Braves are paying most of his salary maybe they can dump him somewhere. I also still like the idea of the White Sox trading for him, taking all the cash on and extracting a mid-tier prospect in return.

We have him projected to earn $9MM next year. Ballpark him at something like $13MM in his final arb year and say maybe $17-18MM per FA year (Segura basically got 15 per FA year) and you're somewhere in the $75MM range. But he'd almost certainly want a longer deal than that if he's giving up his only chance at free agency as well.

The Jays paying his contract. Wieters was legitimately terrible in 2017 and the Nats would be thrilled to get out from underneath it. There's no way the Jays would want to acquire him, for the record.
