Gerry, Do you find it distracting that fans are asking Steeler questions on the eve of the Masters?
Gerry Dulac
11:21
The nerve of 'em

Gerry, are you and Ray allowed or required to cover road games in person? Or is it your choice?
Gerry Dulac
11:22
We are required, allowed and we accept
AK
11:22
Do you think the Steelers would consider trading up to get a DL they want?
Gerry Dulac
11:23
Sure.

Is it your opinion that Jeanty and Warren will be off the board long before the Steelers draft?
Gerry Dulac
11:23
Yes
AK
11:23
Would it be disastrous for the rest of the division is the Browns take Carter at #2?
Gerry Dulac
11:23
We'll see

Is bringing in Sanders a chance to rub elbows with the fraternity? Primes shadow would be a threat to MT’s superiority. Am I wrong?
Gerry Dulac
11:24
You are wrong
AK
11:24
Do you think the Steelers will meet with all the prospective first round DLs?
Gerry Dulac
11:25
They haven't met with many yet.

How do you rank the three defensive tackles most likely to be available at #21? That would be Grant, Nolen and Harmon.
Gerry Dulac
11:25
I like Harmon

Good morning, in your opinion which is more true: 1. Rodgers is seriously considering retirement. 2. He’s waiting to see if a team with better title hopes emerges. 3. He knows he’s signing with the Steelers but likes the attention. Thank you.
Gerry Dulac

I'll choose door No. 1

Thoughts on Deshaun Watson?  Worst trade and worst contract by one of the worst (poorly managed) franchises ever?
Gerry Dulac
11:26
Does it need any opinion????

What do you think of my picks I made through the Post Gazette’s draft selector?  First round - dt Kenneth Grant, third round dt Jamaree Caldwell, 4th round rb Dylan Sampson, 5th round s Malachi Moore, 6th round Jay Higgins and qb Kurtis Rourke in the 7th round.
Gerry Dulac
11:27
I'll ask the Draft Selector. I haven't met him

Instead of running it back with the same cast of characters should the Steelers have taken a "Big Swing" by firing Tomlin and trying to hire Ben Johnson?  I have no faith in the Steelers drafting and developing any any rookie quarterback as long as Tomlin is the head coach. Quarterback is the most important position on the team. Why not acknowledge that?
Gerry Dulac
11:28
I don't think that was on their "Bingo Card."

Hello Gerry . Thank you as always for the chat . Tomlin/ Khan have made themselves look weak and incompetent with the QB fiasco . They cancelled their annual Michigan visit for Rodgers as if they could not have asked him to come on Saturday or Monday instead of Friday and he left without signing anyway. Browns traded a 5th round pick for Pickett . Steelers  could have done the same as Pickett might have been interested in coming back and Steelers would still be better off than drafting a QB  in this years draft . Trading a second rounder for Metcalf , without a QB in place does not look smart and it has restricted their options in the draft . Since Colbert left , this looks like rudder less ship . What say you ? Thank you .
Gerry Dulac
11:29
Just so you know, they still met with the Michigan players they wanted to meet the night before their pro day, then went back to Pittsburgh to meet with Rodgers

Hi Gerry. I've been on the 1st round DL bandwagon since Tuitt retired. I'm now convinced the Steelers aren't going to win a Superbowl let alone a playoff game without a very good to great QB. They have had two of the best potentially hall of famers on defense and have done nothing in the post season. I now believe, as hard as may be to stomach, they need to prioritize QB even at the expense of other positions of need until they find one.

Hello . Thank you as always for the chat . The lack of first rounders DL prospects in their pre draft visits has started to make me think that they are again going to take a DL later in the draft which does not seem smart considering the state of the run defense last year . They have 6 RBs come in for pre draft visit as opposed to 3 DL and 2 DT and all day 2/3 prospects . What do you think ?
Gerry Dulac
11:31
I don't think that's the case. And, if it is, they deserve everything they get. Their failure to get a starting-capable DL in free agency makes getting one ultra important in the draft. Cam Heyward ain't getting any younger.

Hi Gerry Please tell me Steelers are not serious about QB Sanders it would be a circus with his father hanging around.
Gerry Dulac
11:32
Yes it would, though I don't Daddy Prime will be hanging around a lot

11:32
Will Greenwood ever make the HoF?
Gerry Dulac
11:32
Sadly, I don't think so.

Steelers biggest need is DL. But would they be better served with QB Dart round 1, and DL round 3 and fill out the roster with all the picks in 2026 - With the overall Team in mind and number of picks? If they wait for QB in 2026, and no guarantees they will most likely are trading draft capital (quality players) to move up. What say you?
Gerry Dulac
11:32
No.

Used to be going for all the marbles every year was a smart strategy for the steelers. With a habitually strong defense,  a franchise quarterback, paying your own players and good drafting they were in the conversation every year. Without a franchise quarterback go back to the Neil O'Donnell option. God knows Cowher had his problems finding a quarterback. Play Rudolph, draft Will Howard and play him when Rudolph gets hurt. Structure the offense for the skills of the quarterback you have, dump Minkah and draft a safety in the first round.

How do you see the likelihood of the various DLs being taken by the Steelers?
Gerry Dulac
11:33
I see the likelihood very good
