I can see it if they want Sanchez to DH more. But I wanted to pick Avila to the Nationals ... perhaps b/c I think the Nats desperately need to upgrade with a second catcher.

Wellington and Alex Avila are...interesting predictions.  I mean, if Avila wants to catch, no way he goes to NYY as a backup to Sanchez, right?

He could see the field quite a bit, as DH and catcher, esp since Sanchez is no Johnny Bench with the gear on.
Welli ... we just haven't seen evidence that the market loves him. Look at his odd transactional history. Especially after the Maxwell arrest, the A's could use him and might see some value there.

I saw a couple experts saying we'll be real players for Hosmer, do you really see a fit there? As nice a lineup addition he would be, I'd personally like to see some effort spent on the rotation depth and bullpen help.

Bear in mind, we only ranked and predicted the top 50. Another 50 or so guys will also sign MLB deals. Lots of other names out there if, say, the Mets want a swingman or [your team] wants a [type of player we egregiously did not pick for them].

They got to the WS with this team, much of which is back. And have some hyped prospects to promote during the coming season or trade over the offseason. Outlook is pretty, pretty good.
