Not sure how it'll be worth it to them to pay much of his contract so he can play elsewhere. Slots in well as DH for TEX.

As for Yu ... all indications I've seen are no, but who knows -- maybe they could slip back in if his market doesn't develop?

Seems reasonable enough to me. He helps transition and if all goes really well -- they all play great -- then it's a good problem to have. He can play second or third, etc

Ha. No more than that range, I don't think. Haven't really thought about a destination, but I could see the A's. He and Grandy will be nice options to give 400 ground-out PAs somewhere, but it'll be a more marginal role if it's with a contender.

I'll have to chew on that. I mean... it is kind of interesting, but then the Giants need pitching still and those guys have shown more at some point in the last 2 years than Heyward has. But he is young and fits a need.

Miles Mikolas seems to make sense for the Nationals. But the Nats famously don't scout much in Asia. Still a possibility, or no?

Mikolas is intriguing b/c we don' know how he'll re-translate to MLB. So he really fits with a lot of teams. But maybe that'll drive up his market and make it so he doesn't look quite so appealing. Tough to guess, but Pads look to be in a good spot to take a shot and are heavily involved in Asia. Rangers had him before and have done this sort of thing. Lots of others ...
